The expansive gardens have been redesigned as a botanical journey inspired by Alexander von Humboldt and his historic connection to Tenerife. In 1799, Humboldt spent six days on the island. He climbed Teide and documented how vegetation changed from coast to summit, work that helped establish biogeography as a science.

The newest addition to Precise Hotels & Resorts is by founder Ron Ben Haim. “Tenerife gathers landscape, light, and layered history in a way that is inherently cinematic,” says Ron Ben Haim, CEO & Founder of Precise Hotels & Resorts. “It’s a destination formed by crossings and encounters—explorers, artists, romantics. We wanted the resort to feel grounded in that energy, not imposed upon it.”
Throughout the property, guests encounter a collection of limited-edition, hand-signed mid-century watercolours by Spanish artist Tomás Galán Ulla, depicting plantation workers, fishermen, and scenes of everyday island life.

Creative Director Dikla Gal approached the renovation as an exploration of texture rather than spectacle. The entrance opens into a central atrium exposed to the sky, inspired by Spanish courtyards and Moroccan riads. Kentia palms add height and shade, slow wooden ceiling fans set the rhythm, and large windows frame the ocean view. Outside, a terrace lined with teak loungers faces the water.

The hotel has 153 guest rooms, including sea and valley view options, family rooms, and suites. Decorated in sandy shades, soft whites, and muted blues, with warmth from wood, rattan, linen, and ceramics. The decor features oriental carpets, North African artisanal items, and historic maps and engravings, reflecting the island’s diverse history. Most rooms have private balconies with views of the Atlantic Ocean, Orotava Valley, Mount Teide, or lush surroundings. Suites offer separate living areas and enjoy natural light shifting between coastal and mountain views throughout the day.

The spa is built into the cliff edge, finished with micro-cement, black basalt, and rustic wood. The space opens to salt air and lush greenery below. An outdoor jacuzzi hangs directly over the water, with sauna cabins nearby. Treatments use Sodashi, an Australian line handcrafted from 100% natural ingredients since 1999, available in luxury spas across more than 25 countries.
