At World in Beauty, we’re always inspired by the fusion of foods from around the world and the chefs behind the creativity. To say that Niño Gordo in Wynwood, Miami, USA, “goes big” is an understatement. Maximalist in style and full of whimsy, Niño Gordo is an Asian street-food fever dream of a restaurant—an exciting blend of bold flavors and pop culture, encompassing everything from manga and Godzilla to the iconic noodle bar in Blade Runner.

Open since spring 2025, it’s completely unlike anything else in a market filled with diverse food and beverage concepts. No surprise, since the original Argentinian location ranked #34 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List and was named one of Buenos Aires’ best restaurants by The New York Times.

Niño Gordo radiates a bold, playful sense of mystery and excitement, beginning with a front door cheekily blended into a large graffiti mural by Argentine artist Ever Siempre. This mural covers the exterior and signals to guests that they are about to dive into a fully immersive dining experience full of discoveries inside.

The surprise and excitement of the concept’s creative, rebellious spirit truly come to life once you’re inside, where each room has its own distinct personality. Guests enter through the Red Room, a neon-colored dreamscape lit by the warm glow of crimson lanterns hanging from the ceiling, paired with playful wallpaper and whimsical aquarium installations.
