Zuccon International Project, a renowned global architecture and design studio, has teamed up with Baxter, celebrated for its contemporary Italian style, to proudly announce the completion of Villa 375 South on Hibiscus Island, Miami Beach.
Villa 375 South is a collaboration between Zuccon International Project, responsible for the artistic direction and interior design, and Baxter, an Italian luxury furniture maker renowned for its craftsmanship and high-quality leather products. Baxter carefully selected all the furnishings for this exclusive property in partnership with the Rome-based studio, infusing the home with their focus on materials, craftsmanship, and comfort. Alongside Imago Development and T&T Investment, these partners have created a project that blends Italian architecture, design, and style in one of Florida’s most prestigious residential neighborhoods.

The partnership now features a new collaboration with Frette, an Italian brand founded in 1860, enhancing the design experience with premium fabrics. Its craftsmanship and attention to detail create a sophisticated ambiance that complements the project’s Italian aesthetic and global appeal.

Villa 375 South embodies contemporary living through a design that emphasizes architectural lightness. The project features neutral materials, natural colors, and a continuous interplay with light and landscape. Each space is crafted to create a seamless flow between indoors and outdoors, removing any sense of separation. There are no barriers between these realms: the architecture’s visual impact extends inward, forming a pure, almost sculptural environment where surface purity interacts harmoniously with light and space.

In this setting, the emphasis on material and sensory richness is evident in the loose furniture selected by the studio in close partnership with Baxter. Various colours, shades, and materials add warmth and depth, offering a multi-sensory experience that embodies the Baxter aesthetic. The villa’s interior exemplifies comfort and craftsmanship, with each piece thoughtfully chosen to create a space that is both functional and narrates a story of enduring elegance.

Every detail, from the furnishings to the choice of materials, is designed to evoke the feeling of a home ready to be lived in, where beauty isn’t only about aesthetics but also about the everyday experience. The hard decor speaks a measured, understated language in which warm gray, the fil rouge of the entire project, is interwoven with strategic walnut elements, such as the imposing bookcase, adding a touch of intimacy and conviviality.

Great care has also been lavished on the soft decor to create a cohesive and carefully curated atmosphere. Frette’s contribution is joined by a careful selection of objects ranging from classical art to decorative pieces inspired by the Japanese aesthetic, plus a collaboration with Alice Corbetta, the artist who has already worked with the studio on previous projects. Her role was to create site-specific works for the villa, designed to echo the colors and stylistic features of the setting. One telling example is the decision to use leather offcuts supplied by Baxter to create artworks, transforming the material into both a story and a means of expression.
