The Art of the Bow: From Couture to High Jewelry
Bows have historically been symbols of grace, femininity, and connection in design, embodying a sense of beauty that’s both playful and refined. From delicate ribbons on couture gowns to sculptural accents on shoes, festive decorations, and jewelry, the bow’s timeless appeal continues to resonate. Today, this classic motif shines brightest in high jewelry, with Graff reinterpreting the bow through diamonds, turning softness into brilliance and movement into light.

Earlier this month, Graff proudly introduced its beautiful Tilda’s Bow collection. Inspired by the charm of a perfectly tied silk bow, each piece beautifully symbolizes eternal love and the value of family bonds. From necklaces and earrings to bracelets, rings, and timepieces, every item features elegantly tied forms adorned with stunning Graff diamonds, making each one a special treasure.

Tilda’s Bow draws inspiration from family ties, reflecting the House of Graff’s core values as a genuine family business. Established by Laurence Graff OBE in 1960, the company is currently headed by CEO Francois Graff, who, together with three generations of the Graff family, ensures integrity, continuity, and a lasting vision for the House.
Anne-Eva Geffroy, Design Director at Graff, comments: “We are endlessly inspired by the silhouette and sentiment of Tilda’s Bow, and so our designs continue to grow and evolve with new high- and fine jewelry interpretations, from classic forms and outlines to sleek, contemporary expressions. Additionally, we create pieces set with rare yellow diamonds and gemstones.”

The new campaign’s visual introduces a novel motif for Tilda’s Bow. Crafted meticulously in white gold, a necklace, earrings, and rings feature a lively layered loop swept to one side in flowing ribbons, each surface decorated with sparkling Graff diamonds totaling over 22 carats. Additionally, the bow adopts a more sculptural form: a necklace and earrings are fashioned into a bold, complex knot, with curved, flowing ends decorated with pear-shaped diamonds and complemented by a 10-carat pear-shaped solitaire ring. Another variation presents a softer look—delicate white gold strands creating double-looped bows, set with baguette-cut and round diamonds.
