Presented in an intimate venue imbued with fashion photography history, 98% of all creations are made using only existing materials. What is deemed unusable is reimagined by the ateliers. All pieces are created in the Netherlands.

Here is a black-and-red graphic slip dress with a back bow. The collage jacket features hand-stitched tube appliqués in printed georgette, decorated with various brooches, a Burning Man ear hanger, and a Crescent Moon ear cuff. RVDK proudly presents a collection of costume ‘art-jewellery’ created with 3D-printed elements and accidental leftovers (all made from recycled plastics), which were transformed through (hand)painting, nail-polish lacquering, and embellishment with overstock beads and upcycled innovations.

Materials and techniques used include surplus and vintage couture fabrics, leather, exotic skin leftovers, and shearling remnants rescued from high-end brand bag productions. It also features surplus and vintage beads, pearls, Swarovski crystals, buttons, and other trinkets, along with high-tech textile innovation through 3D printing on textiles.

RVDK Couture and Art Exhibition: ‘Birds of Paradise’ runs from October 30, 2025, to September 30, 2026. Located at MAC – Museum of Art & Cars, Parkstraße 1-5, 78224 Singen (Hohentwiel), Germany, this event showcases a stunning display of Ronald van der Kemp’s artistic vision. The Dutch couturier inspires international fashion houses and redefines couture. His designs are extravagant works of art that blend poetry and provocation with vibrant colors, sculptural silhouettes, and subtle drama.
