A Beautiful Gift: The World in Beauty Selection of watches for the holidays

In a season marked by generosity and luminous moments, we turn our focus to the gifts that speak without words. Watches — poetic, precise, and beautifully crafted — hold a special place in the art of giving. They mark milestones, honor memories, and accompany us through quiet hours and bright days. At World in Beauty, we choose with our eyes first. Beauty guides our instincts, design sparks our imagination, and craftsmanship seals our admiration. This holiday season, we’ve selected ten watches from around the world of horology. Pieces that caught our attention, held it, and inspired that unmistakable feeling: yes, this is something worth giving. Consider this our personal collection of timepieces for the holidays — a celebration of elegance, artistry, and the joy of giving something truly extraordinary.

In 1867, Girard-Perregaux introduced the Three Bridges. Following the Laureato FIFTY, the Laureato Three Gold Bridges—limited to fifty pieces—marks the second chapter of the Laureato’s 50th anniversary. This 41 mm timepiece features a refreshed design, refined for aesthetic balance and ergonomic comfort. It has a purpose-built tourbillon movement—the new in-house calibre GP9620, designed, developed, and crafted internally. Signed by the master watchmaker, it shows the highest finishing standards, with sandblasted, circular, and straight satin surfaces, and 418 hand-polished angles, including 362 inward angles.

The new Diver [AIR]

The first dive watches date back to the 1950s, so it might seem that by now, the limits of what is possible in terms of innovation, technical creativity, and performance have been reached. Unless pushing boundaries is part of your DNA. For the independent Swiss watch maker Ulysse Nardin, limits are meant to be surpassed, and with the latest edition of its Diver collection, the brand has gone beyond what is expected and even believed to be possible. Creating the new Diver [AIR], the lightest mechanical dive watch ever made.

High horology, high technology, high performance. These are the three key aspects of the Diver [AIR]. Three strengths that, on their own, are already impressive—now brought together for the first time in history. The Diver [AIR] makes the impossible possible. “If it’s possible, it’s done. If it’s impossible, it will be done.” Paul-David Nardin, 1876.

OMEGA introduces seven new models across four unique dials, each featuring advanced ceramic engineering and meticulous finishing. Available on newly designed rubber or nylon straps, the collection reflects years of technical refinement in case construction and movement development. In 1968, history was made when Apollo 8 became the first human mission to orbit the moon. Arsham’s first wristwatch for Hublot is a wearable sculpture with fluid curves. Its 42mm case is made possible by Hublot’s smaller Meca-10, an in-house manual-wind movement visible through the dial and sapphire caseback.
