At the heart of this unique timepiece, the dial—hand-painted in miniature by artist Philippe Jacquin-Ravot—features two intertwining branches: the oak, representing the strength of France, and the cherry blossom, representing the elegance of Japan. This scene, where East meets West at the center of the dial, illustrates a Franco-Japanese friendship that is constantly renewed.
